2022 SPRING LACROSSE
14U: We will form teams and use the tryout as an evaluation for team placement however, EVERYONE will make a team. We will place experienced and advanced players together, intermediate players together, and beginner players who want to learn what lacrosse is all about on a team! 14U tryouts: Saturday, February 5th at the Bud Dome at 2 pm. The spring and summer evaluation will all take place indoors at the same time.
Practices: Tu/Th evenings at MICDS (101 N. Warson Rd.). Practices will be from 6:00-7:30 pm. The first practice for all teams will be Tuesday, March 29 and the last practice will be Thursday, May 19. The first weekend of games will be April 2-3 and the last weekend of games will be May 21-22. The exact game schedule will be released by SLYLA at the end of March.
Games: All games will be through the local SLYLA (Saint Louis Youth Lacrosse Association) league at Lou Fusz soccer fields (2155 Creve Couer Mill Rd, Maryland Heights) and Lou Fusz/Rams Park (1 Rams Way, Earth City).
Cost: 14U teams $425/player. Uniform included *We give sibling discounts- please inquire via email*. Payment is made after tryouts by March 1st. Payment is made via check, Venmo, or credit card.
Team Evaluation: February 5th from 2-3:30 pm at The Bud Dome (9711 Green Park Industrial Dr. St. Louis, MO 63123) An alternate date and/or location will be given if the weather does not allow for this tryout. *There is a $20 tryout fee* Please note that 14U players can be evaluated for both Spring and Summer teams at the same time. 410 West Lacrosse & SLYLA comply with US Lacrosse rules. All players are required to have a valid US Lacrosse membership (http://www.uslacrosse.org/membership.aspx). Players are to play within the appropriate age division. For spring 2021 play, this is based on the player's birthday as of August 31, 2022.
